so last week was NHS vs. NNHS. the last 4 years we have cheered on beau blankenship with the timberwolves. with beau having graduated and now playing in Iowa...we have decided to go back to our roots with the orange and black....go tigers!
we met up with a bunch of our friends from housechurch to have dinner at nypizza...then walk over to the game
on the way over to the game beau and lainey and the friedemann girls decided that this giant slide they had set up in front of the union looked pretty fun....the kids and mike had a blast on it. after a little bit our friends port, haynes and ella happened to be on their way to the game and jumped on the slide with them...they had a great time. im sure the union programming loved having young kids on their slide....i think we were there earlier enough we didn't hurt their crowd too much.
our crew was actually having so much fun on the giant slide that we never made it in to the actual game... we also missed taste of norman...though we heard it was awesome and super great turnout...maybe next year....go tigers!
