thursday night mom-mom and papa had all the cousins over. lainey said it was "awesome" i have to say it was awesome. mike and i had a fun date night together and the kids had a blast. mom somehow managed to do a fun Christmas craft with all of them. see above. something always so sweet about baby Jesus in the manger.

friday lunch the cousins met over at aunt alli's to do a super fun Christmas craft. lainey thinks aunt alli is amazingly creative. and she is 100% right. we had gathered a ton of pinecones last week. alli had this awesome idea to make little christmas tree villages out of them. the kids were painting, glueing, glittering, adding jewels, pearls, beads, buttons, yarn, felt...you name it to decorate and personalize their trees. it was really fun. we had a great time. aunt lizzy said she could have sat and worked on them all afternoon...she had so many fun ideas. too bad all the little ones wouldn't have lasted all afternoon. i have to agree it was really fun and great using whatever craft supplies we already had and all our free beautiful pinecones we picked up. alli you are awesome and you cease to amaze me with your creative ideas!!!
