**************************************************************wednesday we had an MRI done for annie. bc she is so little they have to sedate them, which makes them treat it like an outpatient surgery instead of just a simple procedure. we had the MRI done to take pictures for Dr.Baker to look at annie's cochlea/inner ear, etc. and Dr.Norman had requested last fall some follow-up pictures to double check everything with her brain. we asked to do those all at the sametime as to only sedate her once. i have to say the whole day was so peaceful. the entire experience was super peaceful. the Presence of God was evident. thank you for so many folks praying over annie and us. we truly experienced God's peace. alli and kristen came over late tues. night and it was like we saw those specific prayers manifest:) annie was precious. you have to make them fast for several hours before. as long as she was being held and had her paci...she was angelic. i kept thinking if beau or even lainey for that matter at 10months was made to fast....they would be letting all of children's hospital know how mad they were....not precious, patient little annie. she was a doll, an absolute doll. once they put the mask on her face to administer the anesthetic she was so hungry she was trying to eat the mask. as she started to get sleepy she kept looking over at mike and i and was smiling and actually let out a couple of chuckles. it was sooo cute.
ou medical's computers were down so we had to wait quite awhile to start the test. it actually proved to be a divine love encounter for mike, annie and i. we met a new friend, caitlin. caitlin is 8 years old and as of wednesday had been suffering from leukemia. i started chatting with her in the waiting room. she was waiting for a chemotherapy treatment. she was a gorgeous little girl, who wednesday was wearing a turquoise headband on her head where the chemo had already taken her hair. she was wearing some fun johndeer boots and i could immediately tell she had a love for horses/outdoors. my heart was so stirred with affection for this precious little girl. i had an amazing, lengthy conversation with her and her mom. mike asked if we could pray for caitlin. and they were so open and so peaceful. so there in the ou medical children's waiting room we laid hands on caitlin and prayed Heaven would invade, "on earth as it is in Heaven" we know there is no leukemia in Heaven. Jesus told us to pray, "on earth as it is in Heaven" I heard the Lord say to me while we were praying,"I am taking my blood and I am replacing caitlin's blood with MY Perfect and pure blood." as we were praying for her i felt such a confidence that this little girl was going to live and not die and be able to tell of the mighty healing power of the Lord. Just earlier that morning i was reading in Luke where the Lord sent out the 72 and they healed everyone they came into contact with and told them, "the Kingdom of God is near to you." it was especially sweet to me that mike and i were together, much like the pairs of 72. i so love how God gives us practical, everyday opportunities to respond to His Word. God is so good. after we prayed we had such an amazingly wonderful time with caitlin and her mom. they were so thankful and their hearts were so full of joy. you could see it on their faces. they felt so loved. i felt so loved. i was so thankful. God's love is so powerful like that. His Kingdom is so powerful! His Presence is so Powerful! He is so good like that. we were so grateful to get to meet caitlin and her mom. Our Father God is soooo good.
************************************this was annie in recovery. it is amazing how they can almost time it down to the minute when she was going to wake up. she woke right up and nursed like a champ. took out the iv, got her dressed....

***************************************and she was happy and playful...maggie came up to meet us at the hospital and bring us some yummy lunch. annie went after maggie's hat. for some reason she has a fascination with hats....she was so cheerful. it was so fun to see her so lively and playful right away with aunt maggie. sweet aunt maggie got her smiling and interacting right away. she might have still been a little loopy from the gas but she honestly was happy as a clam all afternoon:)
