sweet mikey kindly commented to me last night that annie's 9month blog was still up. i guess that means we just haven't done anything for february....that's not even really funny. blogging is so wonderful for me. it helps me to reflect and remember and man, i need all the help i can get! so i will attempt to reflect somewhat quickly over our february so we can remember sweet memories together. what did we do in february....
basketball at the Y. today is actually our last game. we had so many fun visiting fans over 6wk season. our little team was so fun....lots of fun relationships: bonners, osunas, thompsons, bennetts, willefords and a few new friends which is always great. most of all i think lainey enjoyed her time with her daddy. mike helped kevin coach. they were quite the team:) monday night practices always meant a fun "date with dad"...doesn't get much better than that.
***************************************************************ok...this pic is kinda not the best of emily or i...or even ilo(ilo actually is always cute) and annie (who is super cute always but you can't even see her pretty face). but it made me laugh a bit and remember this fabulous picture that some wise person took of my mom many, many years ago. i wish i had a copy to show you guys:) we were in tulsa playing soccer and my mom was sitting against a tree nursing probably maddie at the time. of course during that time i had no clue of the sacrifice of energy, time, etc. she was making for me as she "nursed on the the go against a tree" during our games. this picture is truly worth a thousand words....as moms we just make it work. somedays it even happens to work really well. may God shower His grace over us as young mothers. May He pour out His Spirit without measure over us as we love our little ones and teach them of His goodness whether we are at the Y, in the backyard or driving to Gingerbread:)
