****************************************lainey, annie, esperanza and i got to have lunch with our good friend ryane the other day. we so love ryane. she along with our dear friend jill have been helping train our big kids in housechurch this year. they are awesome. ryane is getting ready to leave at the end of the week with the lebannon team. from lebannon she will go on to china for the rest of the summer. it was so fun to have lunch and listen to the girls ask all kinds of insighful, thoughtful questions of ryane and what she is going to be doing this summer for God's Kingdom. as a parent i am so grateful to have people walking closely alongside mike and i that are modeling what it means to be passionately in love with Jesus and want the whole world to know. i mean mike and i are pretty cool but when lainey gets to listen to other adults and interact with them about their faith....that could be among the greatest gifts you can receive as a parent.
