Lainey

is awesome!

yesterday was her Kindies Mothers Day Tea. I was so honored to be there! originally we had cochlear implant surgery scheduled for Annie's right ear at the same time as the tea. so maggie had been invited by lainey to go in my place. maggie was super sweet and made a big deal out of it with lainey and lainey was soooo excited to have maggie there. within the last several days we found out we were going to have to move annie's surgery date. so, i was very excited to be able to attend the tea with lainey. lainey too was excited but still very excited to have aunt maggie go with us and since mom-mom wasn't watching beau for the surgery lainey wanted to ask mom-mom to go to the tea. so we all got to go together! it was soooo much fun:)

lainey sang so beautifully! she introduced all of us so eloquently. she served us a yummy plate of goodies and then got to show her aunt and mom-mom the fun gingerbread playground....it doesn't get much better than that:)

it was a wonderful tea and such a fun celebration with lainey. its hard to believe she is graduating kindergarten in 2 weeks. she loves teacher nancy. (i think everyone who has ever had teacher nancy....loves teacher nancy). we will miss her so much next year! but we are glad beau will be at gingerbread so we will not be saying goodbye to gingerbread just yet:)

its been so much fun to be in class with esperanza. lainey and esperanza were putting on quite a show for us on the swings/bars and zipline after the tea.
