wow!

this is my precious annie at 15 months. in this pic she has just finished her first ice cream sandwich. clearly she loved it, even better than strawberries....another love of annie's.

so, im failing miserably at blogging. i guess its all relative because its my blog and who cares but i do have this thing on the inside that wants to record memories and celebrate little things that years from now i want to remember. so...i will continue to blog. i guess that is the theme in my life, probably an underlying them over my whole life but especially this last summer....GRACE. so im in need of exorbitant amounts of grace. which means i better be dishing up grace if i want to reap grace....ahhh, i love how God's Kingdom works. so i've had much practice with grace this summer. more often than not i have failed miserably with extending grace yet the Lord continues to extend it to me and give me more opportunities to strength the grace muscle in me. when i reflect on this last summer so many fun memories come to mind, watching my kids laugh and grow, friendships deepened, new friendships made, endless conversations with insurance reps regarding annie's new ears, new sounds heard, new sounds spoken and through it all i can clearly see God's powerful GRACE woven through it all.
