Princess Millie is One!!!

Happy Birthday to our Princess Millie! allison and bryan had a super fun party for princess millie this morning. chocolate sprinkle donuts, chocolate milk, designer fruitloop necklaces, personalized waterbottles and i think the hit of the morning...a "room full of pink balloons" the kids had a blast with them. truth be known i think pa-pa had a ball too. at one point you'll see on the video pa-pa had them all gathered in there playing it was so cute! it was a definite memory maker...
it was really sweet this morning praying over millie with family and the ray's family. we are so grateful to the Lord for Christian heritage and how special that is to be with both sides of our extended family (the ross' and billingsley's last night and the ray's and ross' this morning) and be able to pray over our children together...in a matter of 14 hours....that just hit me this afternoon. the Word says "a grateful heart prepares the way for the Lord." I can honestly say i feel an overwhelming sense of gratefulness to our God and King. He has given us so very much. I am mindful of a sweet time about 2 years ago that allison and i sat on my couch and prayed to the Lord asking him for babies. our hearts were longing to have a baby, each of us. today after we sat in allison's house praying over millie, on her 1st birthday... thinking about beau's birthday yesterday and sweet baby max who will be born in 3 weeks..i was filled with a sense of gratitude that words cannot express. our God is soooo good. He truly is sooo incredible and acquainted with our every need and thought. His affections are so toward us. He loves us so deeply. His kindness to us is so powerful...life changing.
we love you princess millie and are truly grateful to the Lord for the gift of your life! you bring us so much joy and laughter. we pray Heaven's blessings over you especially in this next year of your life. we love you so much.
