i love her bedhead....

man i love these little ones. i love that lainey has major bedhead after naptime! she always has...she sleeps hard! she only naps really good on sundays. i think it must be from all the fun to has in the morning with her buddies. i overheard the most precious conversation between lainey and her friend phin today. to preface the importance of this conversation i must say phin and lainey have had to really "work it out" many, many times. they have been known to rub each other the wrong way so to speak. but this am was precious. it was a moment of realizing that training and coaching as parents really has immense value. these little people are truly learning and growing. i think you always know that and trust that but its really sweet to witness it when you least expect it. so here is the story. i overhear phin say to lainey, "lainey i like your outfit. you look so nice." lainey kindly responds (kindly is key, we have been challenged to respond "kindly to phin) she says, "thank you so much phin. that is so nice of you." phin then says, "your welcome." it was quick and simple but oh, how glad i was to have been a fly in room at that moment. thank you God for growing our little ones up to be people of character. i pray that as they grow they would grow in knowledge of you God and your heart for them and those around them. i pray that your Spirit would cause the fruit of your Spirit to grow up and out of them....into every area of their little lives. they are so fun!
