friday night we had kind of a make-shift cousin co-op. we missed little millie...i think she would have loved the singing and dancing too. we got to have sweet little samara spend the night and meredith got to hang out with us until bedtime. lainey and beau love to sing and dance while daddy plays the guitar...they have several songs that are currently their favorites. mostly what we consider "kids worship" songs. current top 2 are "every move i make i make in you Jesus" and "He's the best...J_E_S_U_S" I love so many, many things about my husband but his ability to engage my kids/cousins/friends hearts in fun is at the top of my gratefulness list. I am truly so thankful for him!
later after singing/dance-a-thon we had our favorite "storytime" actually for about 2-3 minutes beau engaged with us on the coach...He is getting better at storytime. he actually has a favorite "truck" book he brings me to read that noni gave him. it also has a "dog" in it so that makes it a double good time. trucks and dogs.....love that little guy. he took 2 pretty good face plant falls yesterday. one coming down the stairs (he thinks he is big enough to down the stairs upright like the big kids) at sarah's after mom's prayer and the other coming out the stairs to our garage (concrete)...he bounced back fairly quickly on both. he is a tough little guy. thank you Jesus for the your protection over our sweet beau.
