i don't know what these two were so fascinated with outside. im sure beau just wanted to go outside...i think he woul dlive outside if i would let him. but i thought mag and mad would enjoy this of the two 18 month olds!
millie brought over her "new cool crayons" and the kids had a little colortime. beau started throwing the crayons which millie and lainey didn't appreciate. needless to say beau was excused from colortime early.....
lainey has been into beading. beau the other day tried to get in on the fun. he basically wants to do anything she is doing. not that that is a shocker to you guys. he actually participated nicely with her for well a little bit. i'll be honest it wasn't long....

our seeds sprouted. mags and mad i know you guys were really wondering how they were doing...ha!ha! i will say it has been fun to talk to lainey and even mer the other day at how even when we give the little seeds all the right amount of water, good dirt and place them in the warm sunshine it is God who makes them grow. He already put everything on the inside of that seed to make it grow. i think lainey has actually really had fun watching them grow and change.
of course it made me think of a new dear friend of ours. he basically had been living down at the river under the bridge for the last 6 months as of 45 days ago. charlie, mike's partner, shared God's love with him one day when he came into town. our new friend's life was radically changed. He received God's love and is pursuing life with Jesus full force. i could tell you mags and maddie stories for days about him. but my favorite recent one is last week mike's dad was actually in the hospital. he is doing fine now. he is out and on the road to full recovery.we are so grateful he is feeling better. the cool part is that last week the day he went into the hospital. mike and i went up to see him and pray for him. our dear new friend, roy, had already been up to norman regional found mike's dad and prayed healing for him! its incredible. 6 months ago he is living under the bridge and this last week he went up and wasted no time at all to lay hands on jerry billingsley and pray that Heaven would come down and heal mike's dad. mike's dad said roy's prayer was such a blessing to him. that to me is a great example of the great exchange that God is all about! He radically changes lives! God is all about restoring relationship....i love it! I am so grateful He allows us to be apart of and see how powerful He is! our God is so very, very good!
the weather has been so nice. lainey, mer, beau and smiley max had some fun in the sun a couple days ago... getting a good pic of them all together now that proved to be quite challenging as you can see. at one point mer saved the day. i can laugh about it now but at the time it was a bit intense. mer had gone into the bathroom. at the same time lainey decided to lock the glass door so beau couldn't go inside with her. the front hook was on our front glass door so i quickly discovered we were locked outside with mer locked inside. after about 15 minutes (which at one point felt like over an hour) of coaching mer on how to unlock the glass door lainey actually told her how to open it. so yeah, mer saves the day! she was quite brave and i will say calm and cool under pressure! mags and mad you guys would have been proud of her. we love and miss you guys so very, very much! xoxoxo
