till Jesus' Birthday! but who is counting....i know one little 4 year old who is. so we found one of her favorite pics from last christmas and thought it was super appropriate as she has been missing you guys so much. she would like to say to ALL her aunts, "thanks for being my aunts. i love you." i think my kids are some of the most blessed kiddos in the whole world with so many aunts and uncles that love and adore them. we are so grateful for you guys. we are trying to talk about "thanksgiving, an attitute of thanksgiving and gratefulness" lately with lainey. so its super fun for me to hear her say "thanks for being my aunts..." truly focusing on thanksgiving/gratefulness has been, im convinced, far more helpful for us than her...but im sure that is the paradox of parenting. august has drawn to a close. time seems to be blitzing by. i pray the Lord would help me to savor every precious day with my little ones. my favorite quote lately came the other day after lainey's first day of school. i had told her i thought beau had missed her and was really glad to see her when we picked her up. she got down in his face and with all seriousness said, "well bubba (she has been calling him that lately) your going to have to get used to it because sissy is going to be going to school alot more..." it made me laugh so hard on the inside. im so amazed at these two precious little people God has entrusted to our care. its been so fun to see them interact with one another. i love you guys and pray special blessings over your labor day. thank you for being a source of blessing to our lives!
"I will rescue you and make you both a symbol and a source of blessing!" Zech 8:13
