this am was a gorgeous morning. maggie and i were just talking yesterday at how hot (heatwave actually 105+temps) it has been here and then yesterday afternoon it rained/cool front came through and this am...it was almost cool outside. the kids were playing outside/having b-fast. lainey and i suddenly discovered little mushrooms coming up in the flowerbed...they were so cute. it quickly became a little game to find them...sort of like easter eggs. the picture is of what we called the "family of mushrooms"
i felt like the Lord said, "my Spirit is like that...I will do the unexpected. life with me is always new, fresh and exciting.." 2 cor 3:18 says,"so all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord-who is the Spirit-makes us more and more like Him as we are changed into His image."
**i also sent you guys a pic of the "mini-cake" allison made mike and i for our 9th anniversary. it was a strawberry sprinkles cake....super, super yummy. i thought you too amazing bakers would appreciate seeing it.
