summertime

i know people have blogs for so many different reasons and to fill so many different needs. i want to do this for 2 reasons. 1. to let maggie and maddie know the day to day (who am i kidding...or as often as i update this) little details in the billingsley nest. and 2. to help me record all the little things i love about my kids, so i don't forget b/c clearly there are so many. like beau getting so excited everytime we go into target b/c there are big red "balls" out front. his breathing increases and his whole body is giddy like he wants to go climb them. he loves balls: every shape, color and size. Or how when i asked lainey today about her favorite part of gymnastics class she said, "mom, we did the same thing as last week. i was really hoping to learn something new." i love that she loves to learn. i pray the Holy Spirit would increase that. i also want to always have a teachable spirit. so i am grateful maddie taught me how to blog. i am learning. i hope maggie and maddie enjoy this. its written to you guys. love you.
