sweet aunt aubrey came by this afternoon with a special "back to school" cake. it was so cute. lainey and beau were so excited about it. they couldn't wait to eat dinner so they could have it for dessert! aunt aubrey is so thoughtful and we are sooo grateful to have you in our lives.
when aunt aubrey stopped by she ended up helping me with the end of annie's feeding. thanks again aunt aubs! beware if you stop by i will sometimes put you to work. alli stopped by late saturday and she got to help with bathtime of all 3. thanks to aunt alli too. mike is the king of bathtime with the kids...they always think its so fun to have dad do bathtime. he was still gone on saturday night at bathtime so i was grateful to have another set of hands.
aunt aubrey got annie smiling this afternoon. i love to see her smile...its just so beautiful.
beau wanted to "hold" baby annie. this actually is kind of rare. his "holds" are usually pretty short and far between so i usually try and help him when he shows interest. he is really soft and gentle with her. he is just usually interested in a zillion other things. i tend to think he'll give her more attention when she can really play with him? maybe when she can play with his trucks and bobcat?
