we love you dad!!
aunt alli and dad share a birthday. what a special, amazing thing to share a birthday with someone in your direct family. it always is a super fun time to celebrate dad and aunt alli...like double celebration!! last night we had a big dinner at PePe's on campus and then went over to Zach and Liz's for cakes and ice cream. we had a fabulous vanilla cake with lavendar icing made by maggie and a super yummy german chocolate cake made by mom-mom....and chocolate mojito ice cream.....yummeeeee!!!
dad, we love you so much. thank you for being such an amazing father. it is so much fun to tell lainey, beau and annie all kinds of fun stories about when we were growing up: playing all kinds of ball in the big yard (kickball, t-ball, softball, soccer, b-ball...even made up games) awesome hide and seek games, fishing, beau likes to hear about how you let me drive you lawn-mower, camping adventures, reading stores (amora tunnel is an all-time favorite), boardgames, cardgames, icecream dates.....
dad...you are awesome. thanks for teaching us how to love the Lord. your kindness and love for people is tremendous. you are always helping someone, always giving of your time and resources. thanks for teaching us how to love people well. thanks for teaching us about faith. thanks for loving our kids and being the best pa-pa! we love you so very, very much.
