this is lainey first seeing maggie at the manchester airport. she was so excited to see aunt maggie! maggie came to pick us up in manchester. maggie and blair were so much fun and the best hosts we could ever imagine! they made us feel so special all weekend....doing whatever, whenever and showing us a ton of their amazing city. the first place lainey wanted to go was the "library" mom-mom had told her there was a wonderful library close to maggie's house. lainey was fixed on going to see it. so that was our first stop. it was an incredible library. but i think i enjoyed it a little more than lainey beth. i think she expected a big "kids" section and instead we got some fabulous architecture and history. from there we got to go to "maggie's farmers market" as lainey calls it. she actually has been talking about this so much since we got back. it must have made an impression on her. it was fabulous. fresh produce that we can barely dream of here in oklahoma. cabbages, lettuces, multi-colored baby carrots, the most delicious apples, fresh juice, fresh breads, pastries, etc. it was truly wonderful. oh, we almost forgot when we got in thursday night, it was a little later b/c of flight delay. maggie made us the most wonderful homeade pizza. this is a pic of lainey helping with it. it really was so yummy!
