lobster in boston!

okay i can't say enough what a spectacular host aunt maggie was (uncle blair was really super great too) but friday night we cooked lobster and pasta at maggie's house. we had been out all day and it was a perfect "boston meal" a full experience. when we went to the market to buy the lobster the man helping us was so kind. he asked if he could get out the big "jumbo" to show lainey. obviously you can tell from the picture how thrilled with the "jumbo" lainey was. he was a little big for lainey. needless to say we brought home the "chicken lobsters" and they were perfect. it was really sad having to drop the lobsters in what would be their death for our benefit but somehow we gamed up and dropped them it. but it was really sad....but they were really yummy. maggie gave us a full lesson on how to properly eat a lobster, break'em open, all the parts. it was awesome. it was really super fun and i learned so much...i feel like i could make lobster for mike and i at home sometime. finding fresh lobster will be the challenge...this lobster we had was delicious! lainey even tried some...well actually one bite. but i was proud of her for trying at least a bit.
