okay so somewhere within the last several weeks it just happened to come together that this year lainey is 5...so we will have 5 birthday celebrations! i assured mike (after he asked if i was starting a tradition...he knows how i love to start new traditions for our little nest) that this would not be a tradition but just a once in a lifetime kinda deal...making it even more special. so party#1: gingerbread party with our her friends at school; party#2: gymnastics party with several of her sweet friends and cousins; party #3: cousin party - aunt alli made a super yummy strawberry cake and darling cupcakes and all the cousins had a ball. it was hard to get a pic of everyone. hard doesn't fully describe it, rather it was almost impossible. my favorite other than celebrating lainey was watching beau and millie swap dum-dum suckers on the floor. they are really starting to like each other.; party #4: noni and pops house- noni made a delicious dinner and aunt aubrey and uncle d made an awesome princess cake. lainey had a great time; party #5- was at mom-mom and pa-pa's, a breakfast after our annual turkey trot. pa-pa made an incredible breakfast and lainey and mer had yummy donuts and donut holes...their favorites. all in all it was quite a birthday celebration for our sweet little 5 year old. thanks to everyone for making so special for her. she was especially grateful to have aunt maggie and uncle blair and aunt maddie back in town. it made it an incredible birthday and a wonderful thanksgiving weekend. we love you guys!
