so much fun...this is lainey at "maggie's farmers market." above that are the pigeons that blair and lainey fed. lainey wasn't sure about them at first but then started to warm up to them. lainey on friday also had her first subway ride, or the "T" as a true bostonian calls it, we learned. she really liked the T. in fact on our last day she jumped off by herself. i looked at maggie and was like, Do you have her? she had confidently jumped off by herself at our stop. we were pretty close but that was huge for my little girl. the top pic is maggie, blair and lainey in the kids science museum. we actually got to meet one of maggie's friends from culinary school, sandra. she was super nice and we could see how maggie would have lots of laughs with her. we saw an "omni" film at the museum, "the seven most amazing places on earth" it was quite real. to little lainey at first it was actually a little too real. she climbed up in my lap at one point. but she did warm up to it and her favorite part was at the end: a momma elephant in the africa terrain that was chasing her baby...it was pretty cute. lainey really, really liked it.
