christmas early with the moffitts

last night we had dinner at pa-pa's south store. he organized it for us to have their private dining room...which could not have been more perfect! it was completely closed off to the rest of the restaurant and the kids could run around together and play...they had a blast! the moffitt's left early this morning to go to eagle grove, iowa. we will miss them so much. but hope they have a wonderful time with their cousins and family on the moffitt's side. max and mer gave beau a "radio flyer" turtle. it was a hit with all the kids! they were all on it at one time or another last night. it has office chair wheels so it pivots at 360 degrees...its really fun. beau has been riding it around the house all morning. and mer and max gave lainey some absolutely darling doll clothes...a few people even thought they were baby clothes for the our new baby! and a darling little puppy named coconut. of course she adores him. i needed to run an errand earlier this am and lainey informed me she could not leave the house...she had so much to do with her new "coconut "and dressing her baby in her new clothes! she is so funny.

last night was really fun to be all together. its so fun to have aunt maggie and uncle blair back in town....such a treat! yesterday, while i was at a ob check-up, lainey even got to make a gingerbread house with her aunts and uncle john....and it might be the cutiest gingerbread house i've seen! beau is even warming up to his aunts....so great! but he still strongly favors his uncles and of course pa-pa. pa-pa took him on several adventures last night through the restaurant, kitchen and even to see the mickey mantle picture in the office. im sure beau totally understands who mickey is...who knows he might be understanding alot more than i realize. above is a pic of beau and pa-pa in quite a serious converstaion.

we pray blessings over all our family...we love you guys so deeply and are so grateful for each one of you. Praise God for His Son Jesus! lainey woke up the morning singing, "it's christmas eve, it's christmas eve!" Praise God we can celebrate Christmas Eve!!!! Praise God for His Son!
