i was in the kitchen tonight trying to finish up the biscotti for lainey's teacher presents as i was listening to my sweet husband singing with my kiddos as they danced all around the living room. by the time i thought, "i should go get my camera to capture this moment in time i never want to forget" i think i had missed the climax of their precious concert/dance but it still will remind me of how much i adore my husband and sweet kiddos. we actually bought lainey beth a guitar today. it is her christmas gift. we haven't given it to her yet...but this is what she has told us she really, really wanted. i think she will be really excited. it will be fun to see if it actually sticks and she learns to play. our sweet friend kimm, i think has been lainey's inspiration as she plays and leads worship for our house church with her husband. and of course her daddy is probably the main reason....playing and singing with him is her very favorite!
