and the nest is up to 3!

okay wow! so my last blog was about may 3rd. may 7th....well lets just say it was a wild day. early on may 8th our precious Annie Margaret was born 3lbs 5oz. and where to i begin to blog the last 3 and half weeks of our amazing lives. i will start with today and then perhaps here and there i will get a wild hair and go back and document on my blog this last 26 days of how we truly saw and can testify to HOW GOOD OUR GOD TRULY IS!!! i love to journal and have been journaling so i will remember. if anyone knows how to turn a "blogspot" blog into book form i'd love to know. i know you can do it for mac but i'd love to be able to do that for this blog. that would give me incentive to pen all my thoughts over this last month. i would say i blinked and may was over but i feel like i didn't even have time to blink and wow...its june! thank you Jesus for taking such good care of us. so on to current: above are my precious girls. i love saying that..."my girls" lainey is the most amazing big helper. i am super grateful for her for so many many reasons.

so this is my sweet beau with my girls. i have to say the last week at home with my kids has been awesome. im not just looking through rosey glasses either. honestly after 3 weeks of being seperated morning noon and night with annie in the NICU...being home together again even with adjustments, 2 year old disciplining, it has been an honor to be able to spend time with them and pour into their little love banks. beau in case you are wondering is really an amazing big brother..we talk alot about using "soft hands" only touching her head and really to date he has been wonderful with "baby" as he calls her. we are working on saying annie. he just wants to call her baby.

annie loves her big sister as you can imagine. lainey wants to hold her any spare second i will let her. it actually is super helpful as i am currently breastfeeding for 10 minutes, then offering her the bottle with breastmilk and then pumping so our feeding routine currently is a bit extensive. but we love it!

my precious kiddos! wow...it truly is amazing...i have 3 incredible people that God has intrusted to mike and i. words cannot express how excited we are about seeing our family grow up and begin to walk into the destinies God has created for each of them.

okay this is so not a very cute picture but i wanted to remember our first walk with annie. of course she was all covered up my big 4 pounder. of course it was so hot. i was sweating so bad. by the time we got back i was so sweaty...annie was wet. sorry little annie...but it was so good to get some fresh air!

big sis and little annie.

below is the $37,000 bed annie slept in for the first 18 days of her life. on wed. she graduated into a hospital crib. annie is doing so good. she is little but she is mighty. we are so in love with every ounce of her!

words cannot express mike and i's gratitude to our family for how they have basically bent over backwards to help us in everyway possible. honestly i will never be able to express my gratitude for all your help, love and prayers. and to our precious friends and NCC church community we have felt so amazingly loved and supported in everyway. it makes me teary to think about all of you guys and how you all have loved us so well. okay, now im bawling...i just get overwhelmed with gratitude at how we have been loved so well and how you all....ALL of you have loved us with the Father's love. at one point one of the NICU nurses came in and said, "what is it with everyone who visits you...they are just so nice." i was like..."its Jesus!" He shines so brightly in our community....Praise God! His love is so evident!

this is annie getting ready to go home from the hospital. she is such a darling little girl. praise Jesus for His miraculous creative life-giving breath of Heaven. i truly believe with all my heart that God opened up the windows of Heaven over Norman Regionals NICU for the month of May....Heaven came down and healed my baby! GOD YOU ARE SO GOOD! WE WILL LIVE TO TESTIFY OF YOUR GOODNESS!
