Baby Huggums!
there is a tradition in our family that when a baby girl is born one of her first baby dolls is a madame alexander baby huggums doll from my mom's mom. we call her mommy-mom. who is annie's great grandmother. lainey has played with her huggums doll as it is now showing years of being loved on. it is quite worn. mer's is getting pretty worn with lots of love. allison had millie's displayed really cute in millie's nursery. lainey wanted to get annie's out of the box immediately and "love on it" i had to tell her we had to wait for annie to get to play with it first b/c its annie's special doll. i think she understood and actually makes her a bit excited to be able to play "babies" with annie sometime soon. time is all relative. it was super thoughtful of mommy-mom to send annie her first babydoll. im sure this baby huggums will get lots and lots of love in years to come.
