monday our cousins emily and becca drove up from dallas. it was so great to see them. emily and becca are two of my aunt jan's daughters. they have 7 kids in their family. growing up we always had so much fun together. when it was 5 kids in each family we actually did a "kid swap" where all 10 of us were in okla. for a week and then all of 10 of us flew to houston to spend a week. yes, i think our parents were slightly crazy fun...none of now that we have kids can imagine how totally crazy that was for them.
emily is a pediatrician in dallas and becca is a physical therapist in ft.worth. it was wonerful for them to meet annie and so helpful to visit with emily about the last month of our life.
this picture was right before everyone went home. clearly it was naptime. i know millie is crying in this pic. you'll notice my son isn't in it b/c he had already had a meltdown and was already in his bed for naptime. hey, swimming is hard work.
